Refund & Returns Policy

At Jett Black, we aim to provide high-quality products and clear, transparent policies. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

This policy applies to all purchases made via our website.


30-Day Change of Mind Returns

We offer a 30-day return period from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

  • Item must be unused and not installed

  • Item must be in original condition

  • Item must be in original packaging

  • Proof of purchase is required

If approved:

  • 10% restocking fee will apply

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Sale, clearance, custom-made, and special-order items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.


Damaged or Faulty Products

If your product arrives damaged or develops a fault:

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery (for freight damage) by emailing:

Include:

  • Order number

  • Description of issue

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to:

  • A repair

  • A replacement

  • A refund

Where a product has a major fault, you may choose a refund or replacement.
Where a product has a minor fault, we may offer a repair within a reasonable time.

This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Delivery Damage

If visible damage is present at the time of delivery:

  • Please refuse delivery

  • Notify the courier immediately

  • Contact us as soon as possible

Failure to report freight damage promptly may affect the claim process with the carrier.


Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Contact us via email or phone.

  2. Wait for return approval and instructions.

  3. Arrange return shipping using a tracked service.

We recommend using insured and trackable freight. Jett Black is not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Large or palletised items must be returned using suitable freight services.


Refund Processing Time

Once returned goods are received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

You will receive email confirmation once processed.
